- Deliver purchased parts to cells on a regular schedule and Ensure point-of-use stock is available at each station.
- Support model change over by ensuring component availability for the model to be sequenced – the goal is zero delays for change over.
- Transfer finished goods to shipping.
- Tear down accumulation and delivery of corrugated and other dunnage.
- Maintain a clean and organized material storage area.
- Communicate daily with support regarding material, quality/availability issues – report potential downtime causes to cell leads.
- Maintain daily materials and a tracking board.
- Maintain discipline necessary to ensure accurate execution of lean systems
- May perform Inventory reconciliation counting.
- May perform shipping/receiving functions.
- High School Diploma or GED, Computer Skills, Knowledge of shipping/receiving process and Warehouse experience a plus
- Must be able to Lift 35 lbs and be able to multi-task, rotate to various production stations, and work in a machining environment.
